WOW its been almost 5 months since my last post..sorry Ive bee very buisy with course work..Im in class 4 now and have been for about a month just about to start my multi character shot..

Hey, well Ive blocked out the poses using the AM rig Stu, I havnt stuck to the sketches exactly but there only ment as a reference, Im not to sure about the timing when the snowball/head is been placed on the body. Feels alittle to even, Ill need to address that next week.

Heres a rough sketch of where Im going with next weeks assignment...Heavy Push...Stu is going to be pushing a snowmans head onto the top of the body, Im thinking about having stu roll the head to the body prior to him lifting it onto the head..but Ill see what my mentor says when I show him the planning sketches

Ok this is my newest shot..finnished jut today, but in saying that I will probebly find issue with it AFTER the hand in deadline has passed..lol..though saying that Im proud of it and I can feel an improvement from my earliest work...casing point my Grad film..(recoils in horror), Hope you like

Well to say its been a while is an under statement, buisy buisy buisy....Im in class 2 now with only a month to go...my current mentor is Dimos Vrysellas a traditional based animator with 18 years under his belt who got his first break at Dreamworks and has worked on films like. "The Road to Elderado", "Spirit" and "Shark Tale" so as you may imagine he knows his stuff...

I figured I would upload some of my shots just to see what you guys think..next week I start on the push shot, after that its into to acting...woop

This sot here started of good in blocking, put popping became a real issue, heres my tip...stay in blocked as long as possibile so when you do go to Splined your not fighting with the computer

I had my first Q&A last night at 2.00am, really fun got to meet my classmates and my mentor, I had a very nervous introduction, been half asleep and worried something would go wrong but it was great non the less. looking forward to next week.

Hey people, well I was looking around the school to the small hours of the morning and it is AMAZING, I have a Q&A Thursday morning with my class mates and mentor which I'm really looking forward to, Ive had loads of posts from the other students who are all keen to get involved and help and the work there doing is incredible.

Today feels very strange for me because, well tomorrows the day it all starts, Ive found out my mentor is Paul Allen who's a senior animator at Kingsisle Entertainment, I have no idea what to expect and theres always the fear that my internet will fail or my PC will get some crazy virus that blows its Hard Drive. But you gotta think positive and when you about to be apart of one of the best animation schools in the world its hard not to have a smile on your face. I'll be working 9 - 5 tomorrow...in a call center...talk about job satisfaction....the days gonna drag something fierce knowing that I'll be coming home to. Anyway I'm looking forward to this experience Ill try to update weekly with posts and videos of my progress.
